Psychiatry Leadership Council

The Mass General Leadership Council for Psychiatry is dedicated to expanding awareness of mental illness, reducing its stigma, and advancing research and clinical care through the work of the department of Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Inspired by the Leadership Council motto, No Family Goes Untouched, members serve as ambassadors for the nationally renowned department, ranked among the top by U.S. News & World Report. Led by Psychiatrist-in-Chief, Maurizio Fava, MD, a world leader in the field of depression research, the department is staffed by 600 MD-and PhD-level faculty and includes more than 60 SPECIALTY CLINICAL AND RESEARCH PROGRAMS that address virtually every aspect of psychiatric disorders and illness.
