The Brain Photobiomodulation (PBM) Clinic at Massachusetts General Hospital provides non-invasive treatment for patients with neuropsychiatric conditions who are unable to find relief through conventional therapies. Embedded in the Division of Neuropsychiatry and directed by Paolo Cassano, MD, PhD, the PBM Clinic uses near-infrared light to stimulate neurons in targeted regions of the brain. Tom shares his story about how the PBM Clinic has made a difference in his life after an accident in 2016 left him with a traumatic brain injury.
