When a routine chest scan detected early-stage pancreatic cancer, Vicky Titcomb had the opportunity to pursue treatment before the disease progressed. At Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute, a multidisciplinary team guided her through every step of her care, including chemotherapy, radiation, and an innovative robotic Whipple procedure.
Today, Vicky has returned to running her family’s bookshop and is looking ahead with hope. Her story reflects what is possible when early detection, leading-edge treatment, and coordinated, compassionate care come together for every patient.
