In total, 179 Mass General runners crossed the finish line, raising more than $1.4 million for pediatric cancer, emergency response and other MGH programs.

The sun shone brightly on the Mass General Marathon Team as they made their 26.2 mile journey from Hopkinton to Boston on Marathon Monday 2016. In total, 179 Mass General runners crossed the finish line, raising more than $1.4 million for pediatric cancer, emergency response and other MGH programs including the Mass General Cancer Center, Caring for a Cure, the MGHfC Cystic Fibrosis program, the Lurie Center for Autism, MIND Huntington’s disease research and Pediatric Palliative Care. We are extremely grateful to all of our runners for their commitment to training and fundraising for Mass General.
