She works tirelessly, putting together the requests for research funding, managing the funds that do come in, helping those whose grants are declined, and overseeing all aspects of a vibrant and intense research environment. She is one of those exceptional people who do so much for so many, without ever thinking that she herself does anything extraordinary.
