A Global Impact
In recent years, international donors have funded many important initiatives at Mass General, including:
- The development of COVID-19 care guidelines that were shared internationally and in multiple languages.
- Internships providing opportunities for undergraduate and graduate/medical students from the United States and abroad to gain experience in research and/or clinical care.
- The launch of the Healey Center for ALS, which aims to discover life-saving therapies for the approximately 500,000 people worldwide living with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
- The annual Arthur and Sandra Irving Cancer Immunology Symposium, which brings together accomplished faculty mentors to discuss their research, discoveries and distinguished careers in cancer immunology with talented young scientists and physicians from around the world.

Mass General is an approved charity of the Charities Aid Foundation (U.K.) and the CAF American Donor Fund.
