Robert Korff’s generosity, and that of his family and friends, supports a unique and highly regarded program at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center in memory of his late wife — an initiative that goes to the heart of families’ needs when a parent is seriously ill. The Marjorie E. Korff Parenting At a Challenging Time (PACT) Program recognizes how important the well-being of children is to parents in treatment for cancer or other life-threatening illnesses. The program works with parents to help them support their children from diagnosis through treatment, and, if need be, while facing a parent’s death.
