A satellite team of Mass General’s Radiation Oncology Department is in residence at Newton-Wellesley Hospital (NWH) outside of Boston, bringing trademark talent and energy to the site since 2009. Providing important access to vital radiation oncology services in an alternate, convenient location for many patients, they handle a high volume of patients that has not slowed since the first patient was treated onsite. The hours of operation were recently extended, allowing the team to offer services for 10 hours daily, and the NWH team welcomed the challenge with open arms and enthusiasm.
The team offers the highest level of treatments, with a focus on compassionate, personalized care that Mass General is known for at all its locations. With remarkable professionalism and teamwork, the NWH team is ensuring that more patients can access quality care closer to home.
