Nancy Simches and her late husband Richard (Dick) were steadfast supporters of Massachusetts General Hospital over many, many years. The Richard and Nancy Simches Brain Tumor Research Endowed Fund and the Joanne Simches Endowed Fund for Obsessive Compulsive Disorders are just two examples of their extraordinary vision. In her husband’s memory, Nancy Simches endowed the Richard B. Simches Research Center at Charles River Plaza, which contains 25 percent of the hospital’s total research space. It is impossible to comprehend the extraordinary significance of the Simches’ generosity. There is no question it will have a direct impact on future patient care.
