The ESSCO – MGH Breast Cancer Research Fund was established by Albert Cohen in 1994 and has grown from $25,000 to $3.2 million. The fund supports innovative research, enabling scientists to take their most viable ideas to the next step and ensuring that discovery in the lab quickly translates into new therapies for women with breast cancer. Mr. Cohen’s three daughters, Lynn Brennan, Missy Cohen-Fyffe and Bambi Rosenquist and his friend and colleague Bill Leisman (pictured), along with other family members and friends, continue to build the fund as his legacy.
