Susan, a breast cancer patient, felt overwhelmed when she learned that after her lumpectomy she would need chemotherapy. “I also dreaded the distress and practical issues of losing my hair,” says Susan, who runs her own business. “I had deadlines to meet and client relationships to maintain. I was hoping to retain some privacy regarding my health.

Erin Evers helped Susan choose a wig and a few hats, styled the wig and cut Susan’s hair.
“Erin clipped while we chatted,” says Susan. “And she never rushed me. My wig became my secret weapon. It was such a good match that friends just thought I’d had a chic haircut. Along with all the other care I received at Mass General, the services of Images were an important part of my treatment and recovery.”
