She works tirelessly, putting together the requests for research funding, managing the funds that do come in, helping those whose grants are declined, and overseeing all aspects of a vibrant and intense research environment. She is one of those exceptional people who do so much for so many, without ever thinking that she herself does anything extraordinary. She is the glue that keeps our laboratory research efforts going strong.
