Mass General’s dedicated community of supporters and partners includes parents, children and the loved ones of patients, individuals throughout Boston and beyond, as well as local organizations, like Turn It Around, which was formed in 2012 by a group of dedicated Charlestown youth. They had a strong desire to raise awareness about the dangers of prescription drug misuse and to educate others how everyday pressures can lead to substance use and other high-risk behaviors.
