The distance wasn’t the only challenge facing runners on Marathon Monday, April 16th, 2018. This year’s 26.2 mile journey from Hopkinton to Boston was accompanied by rain, wind and temperatures in the 30s and 40s.
In total, 143 Mass General runners raised more than $1.5 million for Pediatric Cancer, Emergency Response and other MGH programs including Botswana Oncology Global Outreach, Caring for a Cure, Cystic Fibrosis, Mootha Lab and the Lurie Center for Autism. We are extremely grateful to all of our runners for their commitment to training and fundraising for Mass General.
