This committee, led by Harry DeMonaco, Joanne Lafrancesca, RN, and Jeff Supko, PhD, is spearheading groundbreaking research on the safe handling and containment of chemotherapeutics. This collaborative effort between nursing, pharmacy and cancer research will provide evidence-based data to support safe practices not only at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center, but also for all institutions and programs involved with delivery of chemotherapy.
