The annual Run of Hope is a tribute to the late Terry Fox, who, in his own fight against cancer, set out to run across Canada to create awareness and raise money for cancer research worldwide. Each Four Seasons Hotel around the world sponsors an annual run for cancer research. In Boston, the Four Seasons Hotel has the Run of Hope and directs the proceeds to the MassGeneral Hospital for Children Cancer Center. Funds raised from the run support research, clinical care and other vital services for pediatric patients and their families.
