Georgene Fontana, RTT, is a radiation therapist at Mass General’s Francis H. Burr Proton Therapy Center, the only such facility in New England. In her challenging role, Georgene brings each patient her high level of expertise as well as a congenial and charismatic personality.
“Although she runs a very tight ship,” says Allan Huberman, an admiring patient, “Georgene always has a smile and something nice to say, and she is ready to answer any questions. Georgene made treatment a pleasurable experience, as serious as it was. I always left the center uplifted and with the positive attitude that I would be cured.”
