Janet Connolly O’Neill founded Friends Fighting Breast Cancer in 1994 with 29 of her family and friends (five of whom have had breast cancer). Janet lost her battle with breast cancer in 2002, but Fran Gilardi and the Friends continue to fight. The money they raise for the Center for Cancer Risk Assessment helps countless women every day.
