Initially diagnosed with breast cancer at age 37, Ann Murray Paige has fought back with character and imagination.
Ann is the charismatic subject of “The Breast Cancer Diaries,” a documentary that won multiple awards for its unsparing, funny and inspiring portrayal of a young woman undergoing a life-changing cancer diagnosis and treatment. A mother of two young children, Ann addresses their fears and concerns while dealing with her own.
When cancer returned seven years later, Ann published a sequel of sorts, “Pink Tips: Breast Cancer Advice from Somebody Who’s Been There,” a book in which she reflects on 50 things that got her through the worst year of her life. Ann Partridge, MD, MPH, of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute says, “This book isn’t just for breast cancer patients, it’s for anyone going through anything tough in life.”
Ann’s blog “projectpinkdiary” has a worldwide following and her latest project, a one-woman stage production entitled “In the Pink,” is bringing her wit and wisdom to live audiences.
