The MGH FTD Unit presents Noche de Cine in partnership with the Massachusetts Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center and Union Capital Boston. This event, at no cost and will consist of a screening of the short film Pedacito de Carne, a drama that follows a young millennial Hispanic woman caregiving for her mother, as both women have to adjust, grieve and cope with the awkwardness and helplessness of their new roles. The screening will be followed by a live question and answer session with the filmmakers and MGH Neurology Department clinicians to raise awareness about young-onset dementia, its impact on caregivers and brain health for all. This event will be presented entirely in Spanish.
