Apply to the Run4MGH Cystic Fibrosis Marathon Team

For 22 years, the Mass General Cystic Fibrosis Marathon Team has been running the Boston Marathon to fight cystic fibrosis and support the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Center at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH).

The CF Center at MGH is committed to providing first-class, individualized care for each patient. Our multidisciplinary clinical and research team provides preventive care, active lung health management, nutrition support, and psychological and mental health support for patients and families with CF. Successful treatment is accomplished through frequent outpatient visits with the CF Center Team, direct communication with families, and educational programs.

Join us and run the 126th Boston Marathon on Monday, April 18, 2022 to help raise invaluable support and awareness for the CF Center at MGH. Last year, our team raised $225,000 in the fight against CF!

Questions about the team? Please email Samantha Mitchkash at smitchkash@mgh.harvard.edu.

Please note: For the past 21 years, the CF Marathon Team has been fortunate to receive Boston Marathon numbers through generous friends of the CF Center. Because we rely on these partners, we cannot guarantee when the numbers will arrive. However, we are very encouraged and hopeful that just as they have every year since 2001, the numbers will indeed arrive, and when they do, we will be able to swiftly assemble yet another strong team! Dr. Allen Lapey is currently working with his contacts, so we look forward to updating all applicants as bibs become available and our 2022 team is finalized. Thank you for your patience, and please feel free to reach out to Samantha Mitchkash at (617) 643-8459 or at smitchkash@mgh.harvard.edu with any questions.
