Give hope. Build health.
More than 16 million Americans seek help each year for emotional problems. For some, going to work, caring for their children, or just getting out of bed in the morning can be a challenge. The need for psychodynamic or “talk” therapy has never been greater. The Endowment for the Advancement of Psychotherapy is dedicated to ensuring high quality insight-oriented therapy through education, research and professional training.
The Endowment is seeking support for the following critical efforts:
• The Program in Psychodynamics, designed to give mental health professionals in-depth training in psychodynamic psychotherapy.
• Scholarship support to enroll trainees in advanced programs focused on clinical care and research to prepare them for this form of treatment.
• Funds for grant writing and pilot data collection for the Psychotherapy Research Program.
