Research funding can help us solve challenging disorders.
Support the Neuromuscular Division
The Neuromuscular Division at Mass General provides excellent care for a broad range of diseases focused on the peripheral nervous system, specifically muscle disorders (muscular dystrophies, myotonic disorders, inflammatory myopathies, congenital myopathies, metabolic myopathies, etc), neuromuscular junction (myasthenia gravis, Lambert Eaton Syndrome, and related disorders), nerve (a diverse array of hereditary (CMT and variants) and acquired neuropathies, including toxic neuropathies, inflammatory neuropathies, etc) and anterior horn cell (ALS, SMA, PLS and variants).
Neuromuscular research at Mass General relies heavily on donations to support a broad array of clinical and translational research projects. ALS/MND is a particularly active area of investigation, while the division is also busy with numerous therapeutic trials, biomarker studies and translational investigations.
You Can Help
Great progress has been made in our effort to understand these diseases, but we need your help to fund clinical trials of new therapies. You can support the quest for a cure for neuromuscular diseases, including ALS, through a community fundraiser or fundraising campaign. Create a fundraising page in just 5 minutes. Learn more.
