Give hope. Build health.
The Clay Center for Young Healthy Minds is a free on-line educational resource empowering adults to better support the mental, emotional, and behavioral well-being of young people in these challenging times.
With a severe shortage of mental health professionals, parents, teachers and others receive practical guidance on what to look for, when to worry, and what to do.
Topics include depression, anxiety, stress, learning, trauma, suicide, and societal issues, including digital media, cyber-bullying, school shootings, and racism, plus self-care and resilience building to manage through uncertainty and promote endurance.
The Center’s innovative multimedia platform offers engaging content with blogs (articles, Q+As, practical tips), videos (short films, PSAs, webinars), and podcast, regularly updated by new research, current events, and user feedback.
The Clay Center serves as an expert resource for media outlets to promote accurate reporting on mental health topics and engages in continuous outreach to make its resources widely available.
