LATITUDE Sports Clubs and Massachusetts General Hospital are joining forces to raise money for the Mass General Cancer Center.
Join us for the LATITUDE Spin-a-thon to fight cancer with over 70+ spin bikes full of riders and teams on our basketball court for a full 18 hours. The event kicks off Friday May 19th beginning at 6pm and continues through Saturday May 20th at 12 noon – without stopping! There will be live spin class instructors, live bands, a DJ, raffles, auctions, special celebrity guests, refreshments, and a cash bar.
This amazing event will consist of your own personal spin teams of families, friends, loved ones and co-workers. Each team will be riding spin bikes to raise important funds that go directly toward research to fight this disease that affects so many of us.
This event is personal to everyone including our owner John Grossi, who fought cancer in 2009 and with the help of Mass General Hospital Cancer Center was able to defeat his disease. The LATITUDE sports clubs family also has many staff members that have been directly affected by cancer. We have countless examples included in our daily staff members who have recently battled or are currently battling cancer. Unfortunately, some have not been so fortunate, including our Group Exercise instructor Cathy Sheehan who lost her battle with Cancer in 2014.
LATITUDE sports clubs has over 20,000 members across our four locations and it is likely cancer has affected all of them in one way or another, directly or indirectly. That is why this cause and our fundraising goal is so important to us and our members.
