On Saturday, October 13th, Voices of Hope (VOH), will present its 10th annual gala performance at North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly. The local non-profit, which is dedicated to raising funds for cancer research through musical performance, will donate proceeds from the show to support cutting edge work being conducted at the Henri and Belinda Termeer Center for Targeted Therapies at the Mass General Cancer Center.
Don’t miss the opportunity to treat yourselves to this passionate, inspirational, and dynamic performance by the Voices of Hope (VOH) in their 10th Annual Fall Gala! You can’t help but feel the positive impact of this talented, mission-driven group, as they burst onto the NSMT stage in celebration of their successful support of cancer research through a decade of musical performance. Throughout this benefit performance, you’ll be treated to song, dance, and personal stories of triumph and hope, illustrated by the unifying power of such numbers as “You Will be Found” from Dear Evan Hansen, the quirky humor of “Hello” from Book of Mormon, the inspirational choreography of “Fight Song”, and VOH’s uniquely spectacular tap-dancing rendition of “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.” Join these amazing performers, as they reflect back on ten years of audience favorites and get carried away in the emotion of Fiddler on the Roof’s “Tradition,” the fanciful fun of Mary Poppins’ “Step in Time,” and the upbeat energy of “You Can’t Stop the Beat” from Hairspray.
VOH is thrilled to be joined by the return of special guest performers:
The Award-winning Andover High School Show Choirs, and
Recording artist and three-time cancer survivor, Charlie Scopoletti
The VOH gala will begin with a cocktail reception and silent auction at 7 pm in the theatre lobby, followed by the performance of “Reflections of Hope” at 8 pm. Tickets for the event are: $40, $50, and $75 (includes VIP reception) and can be purchased by contacting the Theatre Box Office by phone at 978-232-7200, online at www.nsmt.org , or in person at 62 Dunham Road in Beverly, MA.
