Named the single largest contributor to ovarian cancer at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Gynecologic Cancer Research Center, The Julie Fund for Women’s Cancers was established in honor of Julie Paige McAvinn, a young Wellesley mother of three who lost her battle with ovarian cancer in 2004. The Julie Fund is thrilled to be partnering with Massachusetts General Hospital in funding research initiatives for gynecological cancers as well as supporting women during their fight.
The Julie Fund has raised over $3.5 million in our efforts to fight cancer and help those affected by women’s cancers. Help The Julie Fund raise vital funds by registering for the 5K Walk today!
