Mass General is proud to partner with John Hancock Financial Services as it prepares for the 2017 Boston Marathon© with the funds raised benefiting pediatric cancer care and emergency preparedness programs at Mass General.
The Pediatric Cancer Team
Since 1998, with the partnership of John Hancock, the Mass General Marathon Team…Fighting Kids’ Cancer, One Step at a Time…has raised over $12 million to support the pediatric hematology-oncology program at MassGeneral Hospital for Children (MGHfC). Funds raised are directed to cancer care and research initiatives that enhance the quality of life for the hospital’s youngest cancer patients.
As it has from the beginning, the Mass General Marathon Team will run the Boston Marathon® to support pediatric cancer care and research at MassGeneral Hospital for Children. Many team members also join the Patient Partner Program and run in honor of a young patient at MGHfC.
